With smaller needles, cast on 46 sts. Work in k1, p1, ribbing for 20 rows. Change to larger needles, increasing 19 sts on last row. Set pattern as follows: Cable 4, p2, sl 1, moss 6, sl 1, p2, cable 4, p2, tw2, Diamond patt, tw2, p2, cable 4, p2, sl 1, Moss Stitch over 6 sts, sl 1, p2, cable 4.

Finishing:

Sew sleeves to fronts and back, attaching saddle shoulder to tops of fronts and back. Sew side and sleeve seams.

Neckband: Pick up sts along front neck edges, and along back neck edge. Work in ribbing for enough rows to double over and also fit zipper along front edge. Bind off -- do not sew into place yet.

Sew zipper up both fronts, matching both sides. Then, fold over collar and sew down to beginning of neckband.
