Description: Blanket has a stockinette stitch center, with a border all the way around of alternating hearts and anchors.
Finished Size: 28" by 28"
Materials: Knitting needles, size 6 (US); sport weight yarn, approx. 7 oz.in color desired. (Model was knit with Loops and Threads Snuggly Wuggly)
Cast on 147 sts.
Seed stitch for 5 rows.
Begin Graph 1 to set pattern, alternating anchors and hearts across all sts. Work through row 23.
Continue to work as set on graph on first 19 sts, and on last 19 sts, leaving middle 109 sts in plain stockinette st. Continue to alternate anchors and hearts as you work up blanket until you have a total of 8 squares up each side.
Work top border same as bottom border, alternating anchors and hearts once more. End with 5 rows of seed stitch.
Bind off.
Key to Graph: Blank squares are knit sts and dots are purl sts, as seen from the right side of the fabric. (When working wrong side rows, blank squares are purl sts and dots are knit sts).
